Life happens at the Cross Roads

As the saying goes, life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans. It is made by a series of choices we don’t even know we’re making, going left or right, towards life or that which slowly drains us until we feel dead inside. At Cross Roads, we invite Jesus not only to save our lives but to transform them in community.

We are a family who doesn’t have it all together, but loves with all we’ve got, and we’ll welcome you to be known, to journey with us as we encounter crossroad after crossroad along the path of the Cross.

At Cross Roads, we are…

A Family.

Nearly the first thing anyone at Cross Roads says when you ask them to describe the place is “It’s a family.” We won’t smother you, but you can guarantee we care and if you need, we’ll be there. You won’t vanish in the crowd here. Who you are matters to us, and we welcome your full self to come be a part of our continual journey to be the church.

Historical. Since 1783.

Cross Roads Presbyterian Church has been around since - you read that right - 1783. We’re a church that both honors our history and treasures our traditions but that boldly embraces where the Holy Spirit leads us. Come visit the Historical Room!

Committed.

We’re a little church with a big heart. We show up for one another and for our community at large. From the day school during the worst of COVID to help children without access to internet to regular delivery of Meals on Wheels and Pleasant Grove Food Backpack Program, from prayer group to impromptu fundraisers to support a struggling family, Cross Roads shows up with all we’ve got. Jesus asks a lot of us and we’ll never claim to be perfect, but you can rest assured we’ll try our best to love and serve the Lord through loving one another and the least of these.
